Pole 1 Beginner

This is the beginner pole class that will make you fall in love with pole dance & fitness!! You will learn the fundamentals of pole dance & sport and the tools to build proper technique, poise and posture, while building strength, tone and flexibility! What to wear: Active sports wear such as shorts, tank tops, sporst bras, knee pads and /or legwarmers, heels are optional. Be prepared to spend aprox. 2 months (2-3 classes/week) in 1 Pole Beginner. How to Graduate: 

  • minimum of 20 classes and permission from a senior instructor
  • 10 Flexibility classes
  • Permission from an instructor

Pole 2 Next Level

Join us to learn the fundamentals of lifts and climbs, along with more complex spins.
Condition new muscle groups to achieve new levels of strength.  Train increased flexibility, mobility and posture.  Learn to create flow & freestyle.

Commitment to attendance and flexibility training is required to level up.

What to wear: Appropriate sport shorts, sports bra, tank/crop top, heels are optional

Pole 3 Learn To Invert

In this class you will learn the techniques to invert on the pole.You will be taught different inversion skills that will help you build on the fluidity of your movement as you transition up and down the pole, as well as all the foundation tricks & poses needed to build your inversion repertoire.
What to wear: Appropriate sport shorts, sport bra, tank, crop top, heels are optional
How to Graduate: 

  • minimum of 10 Learn to Invert classes
  • 20 flexibility classes,
  • assessment and permission from senior instructor.

Note:  Continuing to take Pole 2 & Learn to Invert  is highly suggested as a way to build greater strength, technique and body/muscle awareness!

Pole 3 Inversions

Pole 3 builds on your foundation inversion from Learn To Invert Classes. You will learn new inversion tricks and combos that will help you build on the fluidity of movement as you transition up and down the pole.
What to wear: Appropriate sport shorts, sport bra, tank, crop top, heels are optional
How to Graduate: 

  • minimum of 10 Invert classes
  • 20 flexibility classes,
  • assessment and permission from senior instructor.

Note:  Continuing to take Pole 2 & Learn to Invert  is highly suggested as a way to build greater strength, technique and body/muscle awareness!

Pole 4 Intermediate

This is the top level in our technical Pole program. In this class you will work on technique, building stamina and strength by learning combinations that will incorporate inversions and aerial inversions. 
What to wear: Appropriate sport shorts, sport bra, tank, crop top, heels are optional How to Graduate: 

  • minimum of 30 4 Pole Intermediate classes,
  • minimum of 40 flexibility classes
  • a knowledge and comfort with split-grip
  • assessment and permission from senior instructor

With over 3600 sq. ft, Studio V is Toronto's largest Pole Dance Studio, and we offer over 60 dance and fitness classes per week with our experienced and inspiring dance instructors!!
